Senior DevOps Engineer

ABOUT THE ROLE We're hiring a Senior DevOps Engineer to support the team that keeps ThreatAware's platform running and shipping. You'll own AWS infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, observability, and platform reliability — and define the developer workflow end-to-end, pioneering how AI can streamline every step. You report to the CTO. If you believe infrastructure is a competitive advantage and not just a cost centre, this is the role. WHY THREATAWARE? ThreatAware gives security teams a single source of truth for every device and tool in their organisation. 150+ integrations, deploys in under 30 minutes, real-time visibility across entire IT estates. Finance, legal, energy, healthcare — they trust us to show them what's protected and what isn't. Now we're building something bigger. Six years of accurate cyber asset data, and we're layering AI on top of it — new ways for security teams to interrogate their data, automate workflows, and act on risk before it becomes a problem. Your infrastructure is what makes shipping all of this possible. WHAT YOU'LL DO - Build and maintain the infrastructure that lets the product team ship fast and sleep well. - Work across AWS infrastructure end to end — multi-tenant architecture, container orchestration, disaster recovery, cost optimisation. You know this space and you care about getting it right. - Define the developer workflow and keep improving it. Build the tooling, observability, and automation that let engineers focus on code, not friction. - Pioneer AI-assisted DevOps — explore and implement ways AI can streamline builds, deployments, monitoring, and incident response. - Drive CI/CD excellence: fast builds, safe deployments, quality gates, and the ability for product teams to ship independently. - Own cloud security posture: IAM, secrets management, compliance, vulnerability scanning. We're a security company — our own infrastructure has to reflect that. WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR - Deep AWS expertise — you've architected production infrastructure, not just maintained it. - Strong opinions on Infrastructure as Code (Pulumi preferred), CI/CD, and containerisation. - You balance operational rigour with velocity. You know when to move fast and when to slow down. - Experience in high-security or regulated industries is a strong plus.
